Once again Tobi, thanks for an excellent and informative post.

I'll say this about the documentary you watched - I unplugged my TV nearly 6 months ago. I won't go so far as to say that 100% of all content on every channel is bogus, but the mix of truths and half truths so rampant in all TV/Cable/Movie content is just too devious for my mind to continually battle to discern the truth from the lies. It sounds like the journalists you mentioned went out on a limb to sneak some actual truth into the program.... and paid the price for it, which does not surprise me at all.

I'll continue on my quest for good-brands of non-GM C; having been searching for months and will continue to do so. Also for months I've been trying to get the owner of my favorite mom&pop health store to at least become somewhat aware of the encroaching CODEX issue. Unfortunately, I continue to get the somewhat polite "oh, this can't be true" reaction. :( Back in the day, Pauling relied a particular company (Bronson?) but that was years ago; these days it's really hard to know if/when any big corp is truly providing a legit and untainted product OR if they are in bed (a BIG bed by the way) with others of the many, many, many prostitutes/scammers and higher-up pay-masters. That is interesting that Mexico has non-GM corn..... perhaps I may be one of the few going the other way across the wide-open border.
