It's one of my faves especially in understanding the the relationship of the 5 elements to food and their yin and yang qualities. I found this a superior approach to macrobiotics. The system that Paul shares is more traditional/older and thus has more experience to draw on.

One can apply these balanced principles to a raw food diet if one likes and get the best of both worlds.
