Yes Chaz is right. Calcium helps the absorption of calcium. Too much acidity causes calcium to be withdrawn from the bones to balance the pH. Maybe someone was refering to acidity, not Vit C. In any case a nice Buffered Vitamin C with calcium and magnesium will be a great benefit to your bones. I liked two that I tried, one by Solaray and one by Nutricology.
