Dear Still Searching,
I'm just guessing, but you may have
taken too much vitamin C in the
first 2 days. You started with 4,500
mg, and then went to 9,000 mg.
Back up a bit. On Day #1, take
2,000 mg -- total -- and see what
happens. If you feel fine, then up
the daily dosage to 3,000 mg.
Increase your dosage in small
increments. Let your body get used
to it.
If you do that, I don't think you'll
have any trouble. However, it's
always possible that you have a low
bowel tolerance. Whatever it is,
stay a few grams under it, and you
should be fine.
Some researchers think that one of
the reasons women outlive us men,
is because you girls -- or some of
you anyway -- are capable of making
some vitamin C in your livers, just
like almost every wild animal can.
That might explain the person who
does everything wrong, and yet lives
to 95 in good health. It's an interesting theory!
Keep us posted on your progress.
Blessings,
Owen
