Here is a copy/paste I found that is simple and easy to understand about the flush or flooding the body with vitamin c.

C Flush
An old time therapy
This treatment was first introduced to me in old Mexico by Dr Paavo Airola in Spa Rio Caliente days (we did not agree on many things, but we both found this to be effective for various things). Dr Airola, at the time, circa 1971, was using a version of this as part of a treatment for arthritis.

Vitamin C is a wonderful shield against bacterial infection and is the facilitator of healing of all sorts of wounds. It protects against bacteria, allergens, free radicals, and assorted enemies of the body. Flooding the body with vitamin C can help protect the body against a variety of things and conditions. It offers help for: burns and bruises, cuts and bites, poisons and chemical poisoning, colds and influenza. It has been used to help treat radiation poisoning, and is widely acknowledged to help prevent, and some claim cure, cancer and aids.

We do not encourage anyone to believe this is a “cure” and, as always, when following alternative treatments on your own, you should first seek the advice of a health care professional (we are NOT health care professionals. We cannot and do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat any condition or illness; always consult your health care professional). The following method is presumed suitable for adults, and is presumed not to be suitable for children.

Our suggestion is to take a gallon of distilled water then enrich it (add to it) a good minerals concentrate so that you have pure water rich in minerals. You can substitute non-sweetened juice, ordinary water, but we suggested the distilled water or Aloe Vera (aloe to drink). If you cannot locate good aloe to drink or mineral concentrate contact HMS Crown – we often have these and other supplements on hand for clients who use them on a regular basis.

Once you have your liquid arranged, begin by putting 1,000 milligrams of vitamin C in four to six ounces of liquid (do not mix more than one dose of four to six ounces at a time). You can also take a capsule or tablet of vitamin C and drink the liquid with it. We strongly suggest you use an Ester C or any good buffered C. Repeat the procedure every half-hour, counting how many times you have taken the dose. Continue until you develop diarrhea.

Once you know how many doses it takes for diarrhea to develop, subtract two doses (for example if you took 10 doses before diarrhea developed, then you subtract two, to arrive at 8). Now you assume that you can probably take 8,000 milligrams of vitamin C without causing diarrhea.

Wait four hours, then prepare an 8,000-milligram dose of vitamin C, and take it with as much liquid as you can comfortably drink. Repeat this procedure every four hours for the next 44 hours (counting your beginning doses, this means you will be flooding your body with vitamin C for two days) If you seem to be developing diarrhea during the treatment, cut back little by little to find the dose level that you can sustain without diarrhea developing. If treating a chronic condition, you should, of course, consult a health professional; you could elect to repeat this process every month or so.

Please remember we supply these old remedies only for their historical interest. Medicine has come a long way in the meantime. It is always wise to consult a health care professional when electing alternative treatment or self-treatment because any treatment may have or result in unexpected consequences in the hands of amateurs. HMS Crown and its staff are not health care professionals and we cannot and do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat any person or condition or sell anything intended to do so.
