How many out there suffer from one, or the other, or both?

I have found I'm much more intolerant of loud noises. Weird, since I used to love going to rock and roll concerts, even recently, but found I had to wear earplugs. You absolutely should not see Santana with earplugs! Jeesh.

I've never looked into hyperacusis, and wonder if I may be suffering from that too.

Does anyone have hearing loss too? I didn't think I did, but my husband says that I'm constantly making him repeat things (heck, I'm only 50). I just attributed that to a 23 year marriage, and I just don't pay attention to him like I used to, but maybe I am suffering hearing loss.

Now that I'm fixing my liver, I would dearly love to fix my ears.
