Until I die and offer my body up for autopsy, it canNOT be stated with certainty that HSV is still in me. If the infected neurons did indeed die, there is almost no chance that the virus remains.

I realize that the ultimate burden of proof is on me. But it would sure be nice if all these naysayers would shut up with their seat-of-the-pants speculation and produce just ONE SHRED of experimental evidence to indicate that sensory neurons can survive a third-degree burn of their neurites.
