You may want to slow down your pace a bit and log on to http://www.dams.cc/ to request a list of dentist in your state that know exactly what they're doing.
Obviously, mercury is very toxic...if you've had your Amalgams for some time now, chances are very high that the mercury vapor has entered into your brain, spinal cord, kidneys, and liver.
There is definitely a certain protocol that has to be adhered to with regard to removal of mercury, followed by subsequent chelation to remove all toxins.
You'll also want to do some research on the differences between DMSA and DMPS chelation. There is a huge difference between the two and very few dentist know how to perform DMSA chelation. You can get more information about this at http://zap.intergate.ca/dmsa_book.htm.
Hope this helps or at least leads you in the right direction.
