well wait until you know how your body breaks out before involving yourself with someone. it might be a good idea to stock up just in case. having it on your hands would be annoying just because you could spread it to your eye.

the generic anti-viral is really not that $$$ though. just so you have peace of mind that you know you can get that if you feel really really sick with another outbreak.
since it got you so agressively infected you might want to treat the first few just to ease your mind. i do think you will be fine though either way. annoyed...maybe..but totally fine. :)

google herpes whitlow. thats what its called when its on your hands. i havent seen you so i dont know...but the pics on the net are worse case scencerio usually.
mine didnt really look like that at all. those pics sure did scare the shit out of me though when i first started breaking out.they were all these monsterously huge and inflamed sores....mine (except for the one on my thigh) were not like that at all.

on the female condom...well herpes in general. skin to skin contact will transfer the virus. so anywhere that your skin is touching anothers theres a transfer chance. for oral sex dental dams are good protection though. you should wear some latex gloves if you use your hands on them. just keep your fingers out of your eyes and thiers. you dont want herpes in the eye.
