no problem. I totally understand and can relate to your feelings. I have actually even ended a few relationships where the partners were accepting of my problem simply for fear of transmitting it to them. I feel it would be so horrible to spread this to another. Even when Love was developing and they were essentially willing to take the risk.. :(
And finding others with HSV-2 through dating sites and what not has not bore any fruit. My fantasy at this point is to simply meet a soulmate friend, fall in Love and then learn that they have it too. That would be GREAT!
That should be one thing which can bring positive feelings. There is no question that A LOT of people have this of all walks of life.
Please try not to let this damage your soul. Life is a beautiful gift, MANY have it MUCH worse than us, and if you ask from the Universe, you are rewarded, period.
And in regards to further eliminating outbreaks, pH seems to play a role in my success as well. I take coral calcium every day (Bob Barefoots SUPREME which you can get online for much cheaper than the local nutritional store) and test my pH. There seems to have been a correlation between low pH (acidosis) and outbreaks. Eliminating coffee, soda and all other acidic nasties has helped me. I also completely eliminated alcohol from my life (which is also acidic). This can be tough for some but I was thankfully never that into it.
Hope this helps and stay positive!
Warmly,
~b
