The note about several patients worsening after EDTA was from a book by Hal Huggins. I don't know the outcome.

Usually IV C does not contain EDTA, but it would be a good idea to make sure that it does not. Some doctors/dentists have crazy ideas and some are not completely clear about what they are doing.

I was given what I thought was a Myers cocktail by a doctor after Amalgam removal and it gave me horrible side effects. Many poisoned people have reported worsening with EDTA.

Using low doses of DMPS or DMSA on an appropriate dosing schedule **helps** the body to eliminate the mercury and helps the person to feel better. It is best not to use ALA during the first three months.

someone here posted a note about IV vitamin C used during the removal procedure and it contained EDTA also and the patient soon thereafter was paralyzed. Do you know if the paralysis went away? How long did it stay? Is it common for EDTA to be in the IV C during Amalgam removal? It is theorized on some of these posts not to use any detox during the first 3 months after Amalgam removal due to the high volume of liberated mercury floating about in the body, like airplanes circling a busy airport, waiting to land, in their case, waiting to be eliminated through the kidneys or colon.
