I have been suffering with severe edema for about 8 months now. It comes and goes, and is in my whole body, but mostly in my legs. It can be quite painful, and my weight goes up several pounds every day, and then goes down in the morning again.

I have undergone many tests ( with mostly normal results, except for low white blood count, high cortisol (no I do not have cushings) and some other things, and the last dr. told me that he thinks what I have is called 'cyclical edema" which means swelling without a known cause. He wants me to exercise an hour a day and see what happens, but I am soooo lazy....

If anyone has any other ideas about cyclic or idiopathic edema, I would like to know , please!!!! I am going to see an alternative medicine doctor, because no one else seems to be able to help me!
