Hello everyone-
My name is Georgie Joven and I am one of the research coordinators at Northwestern University in Chicago for the Familial Intracranial Aneurysm study under Dr. H. Hunt Batjer. I have read that many of you have had family members experience this devastating experience. Because of this similarity, we are actively recruiting families to help find the genes that may link family members to this condition. Families who are eligible must have at least 2 siblings or 3 family members (aunts, cousins, etc.) who have/had medically documented aneurysms. Please e-mail me for more details- since it is a nationwide study, you do NOT have to live in Chicago to participate. In fact, you do not need to visit the research centers at all. All participation can be done over the phone. I would be happy to enroll your family to help others in the future!
