I sympathize...they are so painful. I've had them under my achilles tendons...so every step I took was excrutiating...but after a couple of years of research I have found something that really, really helps. Calc Fluor Cell Salt...it is the coating for your bones...very inexpensive on the Internet. I take 4 little tablets twice per day...and then use hexane free castor oil with some lemon grass oil (a natural anti-inflamatory) as a rub into the areas of the spurs. They take awhile to heal...but this does work...and does give you some relatively quick relief which you should start to notice in a week or two. You can take the Calc Fluor for months without any problems...but read up on all these just so that you know what you are ingesting...and using topically. The castor oil and calc fluor together promote quicker healing. Good luck!...and hope you are pain free soon!
Definition Calc Fluor: Calcium fluoride, or fluorite, is a Schussler tissue salt. In the body, it occurs on the surface of bones, in tooth enamel, in skin cells, and in the elastic fibers of blood cells and connective tissue. The homeopathic remedy is used for maintaining tissue elasticity.
Uses
Calc. fluor. is primarily used for maintaining tissue elasticity and dispersing outgrowths of hard bone. It is also good for overstretched muscles, ligaments, and joints, deficient tooth enamel, lumbago and other back pain, and enlarged adenoids. In children, it is given for the slow development of bones and associated difficulty in learning to walk, and enlarged adenoids that become stony and hard after recurrent ear, nose, and throat infections.
