I don't know if this will help you, but I have two friends, one who got rid of a shoulder spur and one had 2 or 4 (not sure)fused verterbrae. They healed themselves using a Chinese herbal product called Zeng Gu Shui, and massage as well.

This product comes in a glass or plastic bottle in a red and white cardboard box at any Chinese Herbalist, in Australia it is about $8, and lasts you a long time. It is usually used like dencorub, for muscle soreness, but I have used it to help a little with internal adhesions too.

The way you use it is to put it on your foot or wherever needed, just before you go to sleep (it will stain sheets a bit). Put it on every single night for at least 2 weeks, and then keep doing it, but include massage if you can tolerate it. Also massage around your ankles to help blood flow for detox. Another tip, don't let too much air get into the bottle as the good stuff will evaporate away, so don't buy the sponge applicator version.

I think it would be worth trying, the friend of mine with the shoulder spur got rid of it in about a month, and has never looked back.
