I have suffered from anemia for many years and did the supplement route and spent a lot of money on them, all to no avail. Bloated stomach, digestive troubles, weakness, and puffiness. A homeopath friend of mine told me to get some homeopathic iron - Ferrum Metallicum. For a few dollars I can hardly believe the difference.
In homeopathy anemia is characterised by weakness, sweating, puffiness and a stomach that hangs like a bag and is unable to absorb nutrients. Now I can actually get through my workouts without feeling like I just walked a mountain.
Also, I ended up with gastritis after using the supplements for a few years, that is gone now too.
Hard to believe but cheap.
