Thanks for your message. I had been doing fairly well, maybe exercising a little too much. I have severe back issues and the purging makes it worse. I injured it in high school during track.

It sounds like you were an adult when your symptoms set in. I'm so sorry that you are dealing with this. It is such a terrible thing and so misunderstood by so many. I was just 11 when I found my "friend". I thought I had discovered something wonderful. I am 5'10 and was always tall, never heavy but always felt big. The thinner I was the smaller I felt and it was wonderful (so I thought at the time). I have had brief periods when I wasn't purging. Sometimes months at a time but it always comes creeping back in. I have done in and out patient therapy but not for many years.

I am so sorry that you don't have any insurance. Any possibility thay you could get some in the furture? Not only for the bulimia but for anything else you may encounter. It sounds like you lead an active lifestyle, I know you struggle with your energy level, as do I. I just want a normal, healthy life for myself and my family.
