I had edema very bad all over my body. Soo bad I ended up going into the er. Needless to say I had I very bad potassium/sodium imbalance and could have died. Ever since then I've been eating disorder free as I don't want to punish my body any more. That was 2 and a half years ago. Edema is nothing to play around with. I'd get it checked out.
