Hi,

I've had an eating disorder for about 8 years now, and still have not recovered...It's been mostly bulimia but I've gone through a period of anorexia (not eating at all), and currently, it could be said it's "just" a compulsive overeating. That made me to gain a lot of weight but I don't feel as sick as when I was throwing up the food. That had really bad impact on just about everything.
I am trying to stop it but as you, I can't control it for more than a short period of time (couple weeks at the very most). It's when I think that I am getting better that I get back into it. Then I keep destroying myself to a point that it's unsustainable with my life anymore, and that is when "going up" usualy starts again. This circle repeats every time. I do get a pretty bad stomachache a time to time but so far I have not had any major health problems. I probably will soon though. :(

I really don't know wheteher an eating disorder is a result of insufficient EFA and zinc...But I'd try anything to get out of it.
What is EFA anyway? Where do you get it from?
