Yes, marketing really brainwashes folks- its' very sad.

I was one of the brainwashed also. I find simple cold pressed virgin olive oil works wonders on the skin as a moisturizer. it's actually the only moisturizer I find that keeps my skin feeling hydrated hours after, whereas other moisturizers didnt.
