lightening
..................................
chamomile:
is best for blond or light brown hair.
mild bleaching/ for gold hues, and shine
dried or fresh ok.
2 tsps to 1/2 liter water
boil water: pour over herbs
let steep 15-20 minutes / work thru hair
as a rinse regularly

lemon:
juice of one lemon to 1/2 liter water
rinse hair with it after every wash.

DArkening:
regular tea :
for lt to mid brown hair
will get a nice chestnut color
if used as a rinse regularly.

rosemary and/or red sage infusions ( teas)
wll darken or intensify dark hair colorations.
use regularly as rinses

against grey hair...
1 tsp regular brown tea,
1 tsp dried sage,
1 tsp rum
1 Liter water.
simmer tea and sage in water
on low for 2 hours.
add rum.
work this mixture in to hair 4-5 time a week.

shampoo for blond hair:
2 teaspoons dried chamomile flowers
juice 1/2 lemon
150 gram castile soap
1 liter water.
boil water,then pour over flowers
steep flowers for 15- 20 minutes
strain ,let cool , then add lemon.
grate soap and let dissolve in mixture.
bring mixture GENTLY to a boil
stir occassionally til water is clear.
remove from heat and beat til mixture is fluffy.
use as a shampoo

for dark hair shampoo:
follow directions above,
but leave out the lemon,
and replace chamomile flowers
for ROSEMARY or RED SAGE.
