...and you are ever so sadly mising the point of the freedom God purchased for you through Jesus Christ. You are still looking for sacrifices and difficult works to find your way in. To set your beliefs by just >one< verse of Scripture instead of the whole council of God, can lead a person into a labyrinth of error.(ie:the narrow gate) Jesus IS the narrow gate!!
God did not give His revelation so that it would be a lifetime search for cryptic doors. That, by it's very definition would be occultism. Nothing in God is occult, he is open, LIGHT, growth, revelation, expansion, positive, yes and amen!!
I say these things to you and perhaps you believe I'm trying to continue to engage in a debate. NO, I'M NOT !!because I don't have a need for it. If I'm bothering to post this, it's out of the love and compassion that God moves through me when I see an intelligent and sincere person struggling to find inner peace. My aim is not to downgrade you, but to help you. Although I'm aware that you think it is I, (us) that need your help.
But my heart goes out to you, because it's easy to perceive the little corner in which you have placed yourself. God doesn't operate that way my dear friend. The saddest part is, that in your confusion, which gives evidence to the lack of fruits of the Spirit in your life (JOY, peace, gentleness, etc., which go hand in hand and every bit as important as love), you become the leavening that spoils the whole lump.

I beg you to consider the following Scriptures:

"But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation" 2Peter 1:20
And secondly: "It is for freedom's sake that Jesus Christ came to set us free, see to it that you do not become enslaved to a yoke of bondage again" Galatians 5:1, and in fact, the whole chapter of Galatians 5 speaks clearly to you.

I pray you will allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into ALL truth, and that the truth will set you free indeed!!!!
