Get the Epsom Salts ... They usually work very, very quickly and unless you take them in large quantities for prolonged periods of time it is safe.

Sodas and Kool Aid can be very constipating as well and don't work well to hydrate the body, they actually usually dehydrate the body. She needs to drink pure water with maybe some lemon juice in it.
