Food for thought. A better paradigm may be "natural health" as opposed to "alternative".

This way it strikes a chord of balance, instead of some kind of covert resistance to, what has been conditioned to us as normal within the mainstream medical paradgim.

It's a poweful distinction that pulls us out of the polarity dance and places us beyond it. Alternative sets up a rebel energetic whereas Natural is balanced and peaceful ;-)
