Your post shed a LOT of light into my learning & questions. Thank you SO much for sharing.

I'd forgotten TOTALLY about the bile SALTS...and that's an aspect of "the burn" that I hadn't even put into the 'brain machinery'.

I've always solved the 'bum burn' (lol) with a soft/wet rag and aloe leaf/gel. It's good to know the olive oil will do the trick (cause even though I have at least 10 aloes, I always hate to chop off their wonderful leaves). I'm forever apologizing to them and thanking them :)
