Bromine in some currently used pharmico drugs that Doctors prescribe: ATROVENT INHALER, ATROVENT NASAL SPRAY, IPRATROPIUM NASAL SPRAY, PRO-PANTHINE, PRO-BANTHINE, PYRIDOSTIGMINE BROMIDE, SPIRIVA HANDIHALER. Millions of compromised respiratory patients use Atrovent Inhalers every day of their lives! Atrovent is a anticholinergic bronchodilator it is in the chemical class of a synthetic quaternary ammonium compound. Look in a PDR (physician desk ref.) and it clearly states that the drugs contain bromide! For instance look up PRO-BANTHINE it is called (PROPANTHELINE BROMIDE) a gastrointestinal motility inhibitor drug. Atrovent is a bronchodilator used in asthma and COPD patients to prevent/relieve bronchospasms. It is harmful to prescribe these drugs but it happens every day. If you know someone that has asthma or copd please check to see if they use an inhaler and what kind! Jm
