My first child had vaccines up to age 2. At about 18 months, he did what I like to call "woke up". He use to be a quite, content child. Then he opened up with personality and energy and hasn't stopped. The second child has never had a vaccine and is totally different. Very compliant.

This is a helpful bunch of people and there is information under the "files" section on vaccinations. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism-Mercury/

First, I do not like vaccinations, and have no intention of vaccinating. However, if you do vaccinate, there is a system to doing it, that includes not giving vaccines mixed together, such as MMR, and not giving but one vaccine at a time spread out. Don't do several vaccines on the same day, nor within days of each other.

I understand your concern, because doctors, schools and family members put alot of stress on you to vaccinate your child and they look at you like you are crazy to not vaccinate. My child's pediatrician just happens to be the grandson of one of the doctors who years ago went before the government to get vaccines in the schools. So, he hounds me every time and even had me sign a paper saying I didn't want the vaccines. Which means nothing because you have to give (sign) them permission to injure your child. He even tells me that I'm pretty much the only parent who doesn't vaccinate. And, I know this is not true because I know other parents in that practice who do not vaccinate.

I look at it like this, if my child is that rare % that has a reaction, my child and I am the one who has to live with the damage the rest of his life, not the doctor, school or family members.
