I've been trying to find the diary of sexual development of an Asian man, and his partner, that I found, somehow, through the CureZone. I thought I had bookmarked it because it was so stunningly logical, and quite beautiful. (It may have been related to Taoism, I'm not sure.)

The next thing I'd like to tell you is that, in every marriage, there is a wonderful period of adjustment, husband and wife, that is not to be missed! It is amazingly scary, because you are both so vulnerable, but gently fulfilling each other's needs leads to maturity and happiness that can not come in any other way.

Find and read Dr. Roger J. Callahan's book, "It Can Happen to You." There may be a copy in your library system, or you may get it from a secondhand bookstore.

You are entering a wonderful time of your life. Delight in your capability to feel shy because that is how you are supposed to feel. It means that you have the capability to love, and to grow as a person.

Dr. Callahan points out that the person who can love, never loses that capability, and has the opportunity to grow in the maturity needed to handle it well.
