I have first hand experience w hives,unfortunatly. Remember histamines are the bodies attempt to protect and antihistimines will relieve symptoms but bury the problem deeper and as mentioned in one of the previus posts hives is related to the bodies inability to deal with toxicity, most commonly the element sulfer(deadly toxic) in the form of sulfites used to preserve food products, tho stress on the system, too much sun or emotional weight also help to trigger an event. Nutricinal sulfer as found in MSM and food ,it is very high in meat, is the 3rd or 5th most common item in the bodies structure and is a neutral item which allows cells to be permeable or not due to it's percentage of presence.So the MSM ( derivitive of DMSO )is always a good choice when ill, but you must take a lot like Dr Bats advise on water intake. Dr Bat's advise is so poignant in todays too unnecesarily complex culture.

BTW we all should be aware that hives can be deadly, due to breathing passageway restriction,and that is why the sulfites are listed on food products, unless in low concentrations, so beware of all, and that is why you do not find them used as a preservative in salad bar lettuce anymore as numerous deaths occured.
