This happened to me too. The hole where the wisdom tooth had previously been, didn't close properly so food/bacteria was getting trapped inside. I tried two types of Antibiotics and none helped. In the end I phoned my homeopath and she told me to take a homeopathic medicine called Pyrogenium. By this time I was very ill from the infection, but the medicine helped within a day.....
