thats the story. when it comes to chili and chili powder, the key ingredient is cumin. that is the flavor everyone associates with chili. same as sage is with pork sausage, or dill with pickles. you cant taste(smell) the one without thinking of the other.

sigh. i had become such a good cook in my previous life.
