i have recently learned that in usa the hemp seed is *sterilised*
The process they use cracks the hempseed which then makes it go rancid fast.

my choice after learning this, would definitely lean to hemp oil,
with homground flaxseed, grinding only a shaker full at a time,
and keeping both in fridge.
