In my letters to the town, I specified that I needed to know exactly when they were going to spray. So hopefully they will give me the proper notice. And yes, I plan on leaving or sealing the house up and having the air purifier on!

What concerns me the most is the residue that will be on everything - I just hate it!

Between now and next spring I plan on getting an evirnonmental group together and getting petitions signed against the spraying. This crept up on us very quietly and suddenly. Last year they didn't spray - or at least give notice of the intent of spraying. So I'm not sure what happened between then and now...but I'll be ready for next year.

In the meantime I'll take your advice and any other advice that is offered.

I wonder if there is anything else we can do at the time to protect ourselves. It is so unfair, especially when it comes to children - how do you keep them inside for 24 hours (or more) in spring and summer???

Sometimes, I wish I was ignorant and believed spraying chemicals was safe :oP
