Not trying to be a smarty, just thought you might want to know.

Its spelled "laser", the reason being its stands for:

l(ight) a(mplification by) s(timulated) e(mission of) r(adiation)

The 's' and 'z' get me sometimes too. In the UK they spell analyse, where in the US its analyze.

Can't figure that one out. :)
