When mucus is too thick, it is a sign there has been some lung damage, either from polutants from chemicals or, effects from damage left over from an illness such as bacterial pneumonia.
In some cases, it is part of a more sensitive aging in an environment.

You may want to try Guai (Guaifenesin). It thins the mucus and makes it flow better, so it can clean the lung tissues more efficiently.

I would suggest the 600mg tablets.
