Also, Lice breathe through some openings all over their body. If you wet the hair, the Lice automatically shut the openings to survive. When I was 11 or so, I came down with Lice. My grandmother used olive oil to treat me. The oil deprives the Lice of oxygen- killing them.


1) Hair must be dry
2) Rub a thick heavy coating of olive oil all over head and neck.
3) Place a shower cap over the hair and let soak for 24 hours.
4) Nit comb to remove the eggs
5) I would do this one time a week- every 7 days- for three weeks

T-tree oil works too.
