Do dogs get ear mites? I had exactly what you're describing and went to Dr. who had no clue as to what it was - prescribed some emollient cream.

Later I found out it was ear mites from one of my kitty cats. (!!!???) Who knew?
You cannot see these little things in your clothing but there they are - the itch is infernal. I would get these welts of raised red itchy skin and it itched so bad it was almost painful like needles being pulled out through your skin.

I would hold the cat, then some these tiny critters would get on my bra and then these things would appear at random times, later at work etc.

Mineral oil with a Qtip to clean the pets ear should work. And all clothing and bedding washed and disinfected.
