Tea Tree Oil.

Use approx 1/4 cup of olive oil (more if you have long or thick hair) add approx 10 to 15 drops of pure tea tree oil. Mix, then saturate your head and hair with the mixture. Seal your head with a plastic bag and clip and leave on for 30 minutes or 1 hour. Depending on thickness and amount of hair. More if necessary.

This will suffocate and kill lice.

With a nit comb, comb through the hair in one-inch sections. Rinse your comb often in very hot soapy water. Watch for lice trying to escape the oil by coming to the surface.

After combing completely with the nit comb, wash hair with regular shampoo you may want to wash twice to cut the grease from the oil. Then follow with conditioner. Check your head every day or every other day for two weeks - if you find 'nits' repeat oiling/tea tree oil process as necessary. However your problem should be cured.

You will need to eliminate possible re-infestation by cleaning pillows, bedding or soft toys and clothing. Lice cannot live away from a host for more than 48 hours, so most items can be treated by placing in a large plastic bag and secured tightly for 2 - 3 days. If you clean items it must be done in hot water and hot dryer.

No need to panic about lice anymore! It isn't necessary to poison yourself or the ones you love. Just use this natural effective treatment.
