my best friend didn't have her tonsils out until a day before her 18th birthday....and now she is hardly ever sick!
i remember her missing so many days of school that the court system made her mother go to court!!!!
anyway. i had both mine removed at 4 and i have no allergies. my son had both removed at 7 and it has dramatically improved! he had lost alot of hearing from repeated ear infections. since then, no infection, no allergies. not only that, but he no longer snores! however, he is still a mouth breather when he sleeps....the naturalistic person i see says it is habit from not being able to breath right for soo long.

i'd consider it...sometimes the tonsils become damaged from so many infections, that it no longer works and actually works against what they were originally meant for.....the adnoid issue is a must if you want your son to sleep well...when you do not get efficient amount of REM sleep, it can cause all sorts of problems, anger, depression, add like symptoms.....
