Hi, first of all, please check my response (above) to the other respondent.

As for testing the hypothesis, it's easy.

IF you're a flur-sensitive (photosensitive/chemical/neurosensitive) type (and I'm not saying you are), try alternating a week on the computer and a week off the computer, and see whether that helps you feel better.

Also see this, especially the PDF - "Black On White":
http://www.safer-world.org/e/topics/emr/who.htm

One added note:

That isn't a "thoroughly" true test, since there's other permutations involved.

For example, some LCDs/CRTs are worse than others. It's totally unregulated. I've heard from a guy affiliated with HEAL (Human Ecology Action League) that some of their electrosensitive people seem to find Apple monitors to be better than others.

So, for example, the Apple Studio might be much more tolerable than, say, Samsung SyncMaster.
That's IF your flur/chemical/neuro sensitive.
Which you may not be.

P.S. You can also check out My Profile, for further info (only if you're interested - you may not be, and that's OK.
