As far as those that are serious about detoxing and living healthy life styles.
Most of the folks that I count among my friends here,
have nothing to do with alcohol
(including myself)

That is a very broad spectrum you are casting your opinion at,
and I think you are WAY off mark,
and only seeking to justify your own
desire to drink.

It is your choice certainly if you choose to intake pure poison,
but at least take it as your own decison,
and not try to include the serious folks here, as a reason
for your decision.
