Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. We have been suspecting TIA'S
because one day she will be fairly good...and the next day she is just the opposite
on all fronts. We live in the country...and I just ran in this morning and got her
and brought her out here for a while. Talking to her today was like pulling teeth ..
she just wouldn't talk today...and before last June...she was such a jabber
box...we would all joke that if you wanted to say anything...you had to be set on dead ready and jump in when she took a breath. It's just the opposite now...if we
get more than a yes or no our of her...or if she makes a complete sentence...we just
get plum excited...it's such a rarity.

When we asked the doctor about mini strokes the last visit...he said it could be...
but when we asked about running tests, etc...doing something to prevent possible
mini strokes in the future...he said she just wasn't up to the tests because of her
nerves. I mean..if she doesn't take her medication for her nerves...she shakes
like she has extreme palsy...to the point we can't even hold her to keep her from
shaking. The night we took her to the ER...it was all we could do to get her in
the car, she was just shaking so horribly bad. And her legs were like wet noodles...
but she just went beserk when we mentioned calling an ambulance...said the neighbors
would all know she was having problems and she wouldn't have that. But this is
a small town and everybody knows everybody else, and it's all over town, now. Not
that that's bad...it doesn't bother us...but it is driving her crazy...that people
know her health is failing.

Thank you so much for your reply. I was about to reply to YOUR post the other night...on the Webmaster forum...when you were talking about your health problems
and being all alone...but then I saw where Owen had posted for you to email him.
You just can't be in much better hands than Owen's. I just love that man to death.
He has helped me sooooooooooo much with a tummy problem. I shutter to think where
I would be today if it weren't for him. But I want you to know...I "am" here for
you hopinso...I don't know a fraction of what Owen knows...but if I can do anything
at all for you...please let me know. kathryn
