Bless his heart. I am so sorry he is having to deal with this.

One of my good friends, who lives on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, woke up two weeks ago with this horrible fungus that had appeared overnight on her thigh. Of course, down there, there is so much mold that any illness or rash, etc. is possible. As mysteriously as the fungus appeared, it went away quickly.

My first thought, in regard to your brother, was spider bites. It's possible they could bite more than once or there could have been more than one spider. I remember my Aunt Doris was going to take a bath one night and sat down in the bathtub and sat on a brown recluse spider! Her rear end was a sight for a long time. But, to help your brother, you could try placing raw garlic on the sores and if you could, have your brother eat cloves of garlic or swallow them whole. That might be impossible, though. Garlic fights infection, germs, etc. It just stinks.

There are several other things to do, but I want to go a google search and see what else pops up that might help your brother.

By the way, where do you live? That might help me, too.
