Yep, water is the best expectorant by far - I drink lots of warm water and I haven't yet found anything better, but I'm going to try your suggestions and those that others have mentioned.

I don't eat dairy any more, nor refined sugar, nor white flour, nor much meat, etc etc. But it's only the past 2 weeks I've been completely off these things.

I'm reassured that you too think my symptoms are detox-related - they are absolutely horrendous today and I'd be really alarmed if I didn't think that could be the explanation.

I'm going to look at the links you recommended
