Thanks. I was thinking of getting myself tested for mycoplasma, which can cause chronic illness with respiratory problems. The thing is, the standard treatment is an extremely long course of Antibiotics which is only sometimes successful (the bacteria are intracellular and hard to get at). So even if it's positive I'm probably still best going down the route of building my immune system to the point where I can get over it.
