Chrysannia,

I'm sure this world of natural healing seems quite confusing...you keep asking about the symptoms of muscle spasms & twitches, and folks keep asking about what you eat/drink/smoke and whether or not you have regular bowel movements! lol

AND, you have cut down/quit/lessened SO many bad drugs & eating habits recently, that it makes sense to you, that your symptoms & spasms should have lessened...but instead they'ved increased!
(Bear with me here, I really do have some answers for your symptoms!)

Here is the thing: orthodox doctors (for the most part) treat only the 'symptom' of an illness: if you have high blood pressure, they give you a medicine to lower your blood pressure, but they don't find out what is CAUSING the high blood pressure; if you have pain, they don't delve into what is the causing the pain and treat what is causing it...they give you pain killers; if you have depression, they give you medicines that are supposed to stop the symptoms of depression...but they don't analyze and actually try to stop the "depression" itself.

It's like if the oil light comes on in your car...one doesn't put a piece of tape over the oil light so they can't see it any more...they do what the oil light is 'telling them to do' and add oil to stop the light from coming on (they actually FIX the reason the light came on). The same holds true with our bodies: when we have the symptom of a disease or illness, that's our bodies "oil light", and the medicines that you have been given are like a piece of tape...they may hide the oil light for awhile, but they don't fix the reason the oil light came on in the first place. And the worst part is...most of the medicines we take are extremely toxic to our systems...which causes ALL KINDS of additional symptoms and illnesses!

How did this ever happen? Why don't doctor's get to the root of the actual problem and treat the body, rather than just supply "band-aids"? In a nutshell (a very small nutshell!), it goes like this: #1 We humans (especially Americans) want a quick fix; we don't want to be told we're going to have to change our diets, life-styles and bad habits in order to get well - we want an immediate solution to the problem...and if putting a piece of tape over our 'oil light' works, we'll jump on it (rather than have to change our habits). #2 There is simply no money to be made (by doctors OR pharmaceutical companies) in truly healing folks. You'd go to the doc with a symptom; the doc would tell you what to do; you'd do it, and you'd never need to go back AND you'd never need to fill a prescription. That'd never fly with the 'powers that be'...just think how many billions of dollars are at stake!

So, can you be healed?! ABSOLUTELY!! Totally healed and feeling wonderful & full of energy again? ABSOLUTELY!! What are you going to have to do?! EDUCATE YOURSELF (and make some diet-life-style-choice changes, of course).

Here we go...first of all, the twitching & spasms:

twitching, OR spasms "hydrocodone withdrawal" - Google Search

Hydrocodone withdrawal can and will cause major twitching and spasms for quite awhile...ESPECIALLY as quickly and at the severe amount that you've withdrawn from in the short amount of time you have. As if the hundreds of websites & testimonies at the link above aren't enough, I've seen it happen in person. I have a relative that was prescribed a mere 20mg pill for pain due to peripheral neuropathy. This person is a natural health fanatic, but just couldn't abide the pain any longer. After taking a 20 mg Hydrocodone every evening for two weeks, she started noticing that her arm & spine started twitching if she was even 15 minutes late on her daily dose. And after a few more weeks of taking it, if she was late for her dose, her arm would go into complete 'convulsions' (that she absolutely couldn't control). I actually tried to hold her arm still once, and it took far more strength than I could have dreamed necessary just to hold her arm still. SO, my educated guess is (especially since you indicated the timing was right), is that your spasms & twitching are due to Hydrocodone withdrawals. HERS WAS ONLY 20mg DOSES, ONCE A DAY!! And of course, all this has been made worse by the side-effects and withdrawal effects of some of the other meds you've cut way back on, or stopped.

Effexor Withdrawal: Withdrawal symptoms from this drug are probably the absolutely worst of any pyscho-pharmaceutical in the world...and there's only actually two drugs that will lessen the symptoms in any way at all...and one of them is Klonopin :( the other is Prozac (both are horrible drugs, but they DO assist with withdrawal from Effexor). Oh my...you and your body must be in pure hell right now. Even if you only took Effexor for a short time, the withdrawal symptoms can last for months...and they are unbelievably NASTY!! Just check out this link, and all the hundreds of support groups for folks going through it...you'll be amazed (and angry) that a doctor would EVER prescribe this medicine!

Klonopin withdrawal:
"klonopin withdrawal" - Google Search

Withdrawal from Klonopin is reported to cause frequent urination (especially at night) and nightime bedwetting. (At the very end of this post, I've pasted a whole list of Klonopin withdrawal symptoms)

WHEW! (I bet your saying) and CRAP! What in the WORLD am I supposed to do now?!
Well, I am no expert, and I hesitate to tell you what to do (especially with this type of multiple-narcotic withdrawal), but many folks have to go back on the meds that are causing the withdrawals, long enough to wean themselves off them VERY gradually. However, you've already suffered through the worst of a lot of the symptoms, so maybe your best bet is to just keep going. I wish I knew the best answer, but only you can listen to your body/symptoms and know how much you can handle (and what you're willing to handle and do) to get better.

What I do know is this...you MUST detox your system. And that starts with your intestines and bowel. I know, I know, you already have diarrhea and runny stools, you're no longer constipated. BUT, here's the thing, your bowels have a lining of buildup from decades of toxins (from meds, chemicals, food additives, putrefied food, etc), and this build-up (referred to as mucoid plaque) can actually be the reason for your runny stools. If the build-up becomes so thick, there's only a small tube for your bowel movements to go through, so your body sometimes will give you diahrrea in order to expel the waste...or sometimes you get totally clogged up. But either way, here's the thing: the human body should have one bowel movement for every meal they eat...which is generally two or three daily (and those should be about the consistency of peanut butter, give or take a few chunky pieces for food not properly chewed). From your posts, it's clear that your diet and eating habits are totally irregular, so it's fairly safe to assume that your bowel is probably in desperate need of a total cleanse. And you must do this cleanse FIRST, before you do ANY OTHER TYPE OF SYSTEM FLUSH (liver, kidney, etc). The reason it has to be first? Because if you flush toxins from the liver/kidney into an unhealthy/clogged/uncleansed bowel and intestines, the toxins will hang around in your colon & intestines...and seep right back into your system. Not only is that terrible for your whole body...but you'll feel terrible!

It is very important that you read "Journey to the Center of your Colon" at this website:
t h e d o c t o r w i t h i n
Click the "chapters" link on the left side of the site when it loads, and choose 'Journey to the Center of your Colon"

Once you get your bowel/intestines cleansed and in working order, you can proceed with other organ flushes (the liver one will be extremely beneficial for you!); you'll also need to adjust your diet...and you can start by drinking plenty of water (NOT tap water!). You should drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces...of water daily. So if you weigh 100 pounds, you should drink at least 50 ounces....200 pounds, 100 ounces. For now, drinking water and getting your colon cleansed are a GREAT place to start -- because you'll be getting out years of toxic waste from your system with the bowel cleanse, and the water will help dissolve and dilute all the toxins you currently have running throughout your body.

There are lots and lots of herbal/natural formulas that will ease your symptoms, but I'm not familiar enough with your symptoms/dosages/current meds to recommend any in particular. I can say that I myself (and my mother) have used the herb Valerian as a sedative/calming agent for various reasons...but if you're still taking any Klonopin or Hydrocodone, I wouldn't add an herbal sedative to the mix. Valerian (as all natural sedatives) is known to increase the sedative effect of opiates & barbituates (Hydrocodone and Klonopin), and depending upon the person, dosage, and strength of the herbal preparation, it can be dangerous to mix them.

I wish I had the time to write more, but if you surf around the Curezone Forums, you'll find LOTs of helpful folks (and even more helpful information!).

One thing is absolutely, positively true...YOU CAN BE WELL, HEALTHY, ENERGETIC, and FULL OF LIFE AGAIN!! Do NOT settle for anything else!!

Hang on to the truth! The truth is you CAN be healthy again...there's no doubt about it!
