I would look to fresh aloe vera juice to detoxify uranium. The bottled stuff won't work, so you have to grow Aloe plants.

In the days of "duck and cover", when many americans were expecting nuclear attack, the US Government discovered that fresh Aloe was the best detoxifier for radiation. They were going to place big drums of Aloe juice in all the fallout shelters. Unfortunately, they realized that in only 15 minutes the enzymes were lost and the juice became useless.
