Hi. I've had my last quadrant of Amalgams removed about a week and half ago. Right now I'm on Detoxosode and Biosode that my naturopath gave to me for chelating. I'm not sure if this is the right way to go, but I am on these until I figure out what path I will take for chelating. Besides vitamins/minerals in order to keep up my strength, which would be the best way to go for chelation? I've heard a lot about Chlorella - many places say that this is a great way to chelate, but many posts say that it's not because mercury can acutally be in the Chlorella itself. A good brand that I saw in the natural healthfood store is Sun A Chlorella. Any thoughts?

Also, I've read about Andy Hall's method of using Lipoic Acid. Is this the right way to go?

How about cilantro?

I've also heard of Algin... but can't tell if this is just a marketing ploy on this site or not....

As you can see, I am not sure as to what path I should take. In the meantime I'm on detoxosode and biosode figuring that this is good in the meantime. Although I do feel crappy, but been told that I will feel like this and that it will take awhile. My naturopath gave these to me, but I'm not really sure if she's that knowledgeable about mercury removal and chelation or not. She just kind of handed this to me and said to use it. She advised me to use it before I had my Amalgams removed and from reading many posts here, one should absolutely not chelate while still having Amalgams in one's mouth. This also leads me to believe that my naturopath does not really know what she's talking about, and so I'm trying to figure things out on my own here through this site. Any feedback would greatly be appreciated. There seems to be a few different modes of chelation, and I'm just trying to figure out the best way. Thanks.
