Hi!

With your age, it could be nothing. Anxiety during the teenage years can cause your heart to beat faster than normal. Keep in mind that I am NOT an expert. It's only my thoughts. Taking medications can cause this, too.

Try this.....Mix about half a teaspoon (or 1/4 teaspoon) of Epsom Salt in a glass of water and see if that doesn't slow down your rapid heart beat.
