The dizziness kinda crept up on me, but in Jan/Feb It really got bad. I think I was really intoxicated, and though I cannot be sure what all was intoxicating me (it could be a number of environmental factors and/or internal poisoning) I believe that the intensive sweating helped my body get rid of whatever was floating around in my system.
In January, I did a bad no-no. I decided to try brushing my teeth with salt. Now this is normally a good thing--as long as you don't have Amalgam in your mouth. I experienced a very bad and long headache and extreme dizziness after brushing with salt for a few days. And my heart was going haywire. I decided to research salt and Amalgam and I discovered that salt makes mercury more soluble! So I decided that I'd better do something immediately to reduce the mercury load.
I started reading a great book on environmental illness, "Tired or Toxic" by Sherry A. Rogers, M.D., and got some invaluable insight. After I got over the worst of my dizziness, I spent a whole day cleaning out my closet. I ripped up the carpeting in my hallway and closet and I got rid of all synthetic-fabric clothing. I felt sick and dizzy while doing it, and I had to go outside and breathe fresh air several times. But getting rid of the synthetics has helped a lot. I wear mainly cotton and silk now. I only have one room left in my house with carpeting. I use an air cleaner in my bedroom. Unfortunately, I just bought a brand new matress several months ago. That has probably contributed to my illness. But I'm counting on the air purifier to help undo the damage I did when I bought a non-organic mattress. I've also thrown out most commercial cosmetics and soaps. I've gone natural as much as I can. I use the mineral stone for deodorant. I use organic shampoo & cream rinse & soap. I tossed most of my perfumes and lotions and regular soap/shampoo/toothpaste. It's made a difference.
I've cleaned up my diet. I'm trying to get more exercise--very hard to do when you feel like you're dying. It's easier since I'm not dizzy anymore. I'm sitting out in the sun every day that it is warm enough to bear it. I've learned to relax more and not "sweat" the small stuff. Spent WAY too much of my life doing that. All I can do is my best...I don't have to be perfect all the time. Every baby step in the right direction makes a difference. I just have to keep moving in the right direction. Juice more. Eat more raw. Eat more fresh, whole foods. Stay away from those Reese's Peanut Butter Cups... ;)
Oh, BTW, sorry I didn't warn you about the intensity of that bath! It will really heat you up. I find it very hard to breathe while I'm in the tub. I have to wear a dust MASK!! I'm thinking of investing in a GAS MASK so that I can relax and enjoy cooking myself. The cool thing about the burning...it really warms you up on a cold winter's night, and the burning goes away after a while. No permanent damage to the skin. I think it's great. It reminds me a lot of Dr. Schulze 's cold sheet treatment. To do that, I'd have to take a garlic enema beforehand, and drink six cups of ginger tea (I think it's ginger tea), then wrap myself in a sheet soaked in ice water before I crawl into bed. After doing my ginger bath, I think I could handle all of that with no problem. One of these days, I'm going to do it!
Natural healing is amazing! Before people had the glut of expensive designer drugs to mask "whatever ails you," they had to rely on simple, effective methods to treat their diseases, not mask their symptoms. That's what natural healing is all about, using simple, effective means to get well. I'm feeling so much better than I did two months ago, but I know that I have to get the source of the poisoning out...That's why I'm getting all my fillings out and having a perfectly lovely gold-crowned root canal yanked out. I'm angry that such a gifted dentist wasted his talents by promulgating the falacy that people can stay well with something dead and putrifying in their mouths. I just don't buy it anymore, and I'm glad I found out before I got MS or something worse. Actually, for awhile I felt like I was dangerously close to death, but now I have hope. I'm alive again.
